Problem: No speed input to the Yamaha engine monitor and consequently no nm/gal performance. Garmin 8612 did not display Yamaha engine data.
Turned out to be a simple fix. Bought the two items below on Amazon. The Garmin cable goes into the 1939 port on 8612. The other cable connects Garmin cable to the Yamaha Engine Bus Multi-Hub Assembly. Easy access behind the helm.
Now: Yamaha display on 8612 and, GPS speed on Yamaha 6YC. Cost: $57.00
